What you can do from the Dashboard and what it consists of
The Dashboard is what we call the heart of Simployer One for you as an employee. By reviewing the Dashboard you should be able to have a good overview on events related to your team and/or department such as birthdays or upcoming leaves as well as actions you need to complete (if you are a Manager, Admin or Owner).
In this article, you will be able to read more about the different components the Dashboard consists of as well as what you can do from this view.
The Dashboard
There are four components on your dashboard:
Actions
Log
Upcoming events
The top menu (read more about it below)
Actions will list the actions needed to be completed by you, e.g. signing of documents or approval of leaves (if you're a Manager). The Log shows changes and events connected to you, such as edits of your profile done by you or perhaps a Manager or Admin. Under Upcoming events you'll find events, such as a colleague's last day, vacation and birthdays ?
Top menu of the Dashboard

To give employees a quick way to what is usually the most common task for them in the platform, there are up to two buttons on the top menu: Request time off and Work from home.

Request time off: Clicking on the green button will allow you to easily send a time off request. Just choose the type of leave you are asking for, the time period relevant and, if necessary, a short note to the person who will approve it.
Work from home: This one will only appear here if an Owner or Admin has allowed for it. Click here to notify your Manager and team if you will be working from.
