Note: this needs to be done by an admin user in Teamtailor
Set up the integration
Before you can import the new hires to Simployer One you need to configure the integration with the use of a Teamtailor API Key.
Sign in to your Teamtailor account and go to Settings → Integrations → API (check their Helpdesk here if you are unsure how to retrieve an API key)
Create an Admin API key with a read permission and name of your choice
Copy your API key
Settings → Integrations in Simployer One
In the "Integrate with ATS system" section, click Add integration
Select Teamtailor and click Next
Paste the API key from Teamtailor in the correct section
Select whether you want the default import status to be "Candidates" or "New hires"
People are importable once their status changes to "Hired" in Teamtailor so we recommend that you select "New hire"
Click Save
Importing employees from Teamtailor
Now that the setup is complete, the next step is to import the new employees from Teamtailor to Simployer One.
"Hired" column in Teamtailor
When you have moved a candidate to your "Hired"-column in Teamtailor, those candidates are then available to be imported to Simployer One.
People → Export/Import or Employees → Teamtailor
There are 2 ways to navigate to the Teamtailor import after the integration is configured. Both methods take you to the same page.
People → Export/Import → Teamtailor → Import
People → Employees → Teamtailor (button)
Teamtailor import page
On this page you are presented with 3 tabs:
New: candidates that have the status "Hired" in Teamtailor, but have not been imported
Imported: candidates that have the status "Hired" in Teamtailor and have already been imported
All: includes all candidates that exist in Teamtailor
Done! Next step is to use our resume onboarding-feature to then invite them to Simployer One.
