Learn more how you a Salary Review works for you as a Planner and/or Final approver
A Salary Review can only be set up by an Owner in Simployer One. You will receive a notification if you are to be part of a Salary Review either as a Planner or a Final approver.
Parties involved in a salary review
- Planner: Your role is to provide salary suggestions or recommendations for your designated group of employees. These suggestions will be reviewed by the Final Approver for approval.
- Final approver: As the Final Approver, you review all the recommendations submitted by the Planners. After your review, you either approve or reject the proposed changes. If you approve the changes, a new salary, starting with the predefined effective date, will be automatically created in the employees’ profiles in Simployer One.
Important dates to remember
- Start date: This is the date when Planners will receive the notification email and can begin submitting their salary recommendations for their employees.
- Final approver date: This is the last day for the Final Approver to complete their review and either approve or reject the salary recommendations.
- Effective date: This is the date when the new salaries for all eligible employees will take effect. After the Final Approver approves to “Update Salaries”, the new salary information will be added the compensation section of the employees’ profiles in Simployer One. The previous compensation details will be retained for historical reference.
