Kleer (PE Accounting) integration

Modified on Fri, 7 Mar at 11:02 AM

A step by step guide to setting up your PE Accounting integration

Overview

With this PE Accounting integration you will connect Simployer One  to your Kleer account through API and can then do the following:

  • Manual sync of employee data such as personal information, employment data, compensation data from Simployer One  to Kleer.

  • Export time off data such as sickness, parental leave and vacations to Kleer.

Requirements

Only owners in Simployer One  can configure the integrations

Create an integration user in Kleer (PE Accounting).

This is the user that the integration will act as "behalf of eg. the user that will perform the actions for the integration in Kleer.

In Kleer, create a user with the following settings:

  • Permissions :

    • Payroll = Administer all the payroll

    • Roles = Finance manager

  • User permissions = administrate

  • Password settings = Password

    • Make it a secure password!

To set up the integration you need to have privileges that allow you to create/edit users in Kleer. You can use your own user, but this is not optimal, since you won't be able to differentiate change logs in Kleer and won't be able to use BankID.

Configuration

The integration is activated from Settings → IntegrationsIntegrate with payroll systemAdd Integration

  • Select Kleer (PE accounting).

  • Click Next to start the configuration wizard.

  • Enter all the detail needed for the connection

You can also label this company to differentiate it if you have more than one Kleer instance.

Settings

Kleer salary report settings

Remember to turn off time reporting notifications from Kleer if and when you are going to use Simployer One for time reporting instead.

This is done under payroll settings for the employees in Kleer:

  • Go to the General tab

  • Scroll down to Salary reports - Management

  • Select - Administrator/manager must submit salary report

Private or work email

Default email to be exported to Kleer is the private email. This can be changed with clicking settings and choose Use work email instead.
