Getting simple HR tasks done shouldn’t require switching devices, downloading an app, or waiting until you’re back at your desk. Whether it’s updating a profile, requesting time off, or checking your employment contract, it should just work right from your phone. Now it does. Seamlessly, through the browser, whenever and wherever it’s needed. This is all part of our improvements to mobile responsiveness and our focus on making sure employees have a great experience.

Designed for real-life work

HR tasks don’t always happen at a desk. Sometimes you’re walking into a meeting, catching a train, or halfway through lunch when you remember that thing you need to approve. Or if you're sick in bed and don't have the energy to get your laptop? No problem. 

Now you can handle it right from your mobile browser. It's fast, simple, and frustration-free.

1. Employees can take care of their HR-related tasks from their mobile. 
2. Managers can quickly approve requests or check in on their team, wherever they are.
3. HR teams get fewer blockers and better adoption of self-service tools, and can breathe a little easier knowing the system just works – for everyone.

This update isn’t just about nicer buttons or cleaner layouts (though we’ve done that too). It’s about removing friction from everyday HR processes.

No extra apps to install. No “I’ll do it later.” Just a better way for your people to get things done, whenever and wherever it suits them. 

Extra tip Add Simployer to your Home screen 

For iPhone (using Safari)

1. Open Safari and go to the website you want to save.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with the arrow pointing up — usually at the bottom of the screen).
3. Scroll down in the share sheet and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
4. Edit the name if you want (this is what will show under the icon).
5. Tap Add (top right).
6. You’ll now see the icon on your Home Screen — tap it anytime to open the website like an app!

 This only works with Safari on iPhone.

For Android (using Chrome)

1. Open Chrome and go to the website you want to save.
2. Tap the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
3. Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app” (it depends on the site — some will show “Install app” if they support it).
4. Edit the name if you want.
5. Tap Add, then confirm by tapping Add automatically or drag the icon where you like it.
6. The icon will now appear on your Home Screen — tap it anytime to open the site.

 Tip: Some sites that are Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) may open in a more app-like way without the browser bar.
