Where to find the Export time off page
The Export time off page lets you choose exactly what time off data to export, for which employees, and for which period. Use this page whenever you need to pull time off records out of Simployer One for reporting, payroll, or other systems.
To get there, go to Manage time → Export time off.
How do I filter the time off data before exporting?
Before exporting, choose a time period and, optionally, filter which employees are included.
Time period
Select one of the following:
- Week
- Month
- Custom — choose a specific start and end date
Note: Only time off falling within the selected period is exported. If a time off period starts before or ends after your selected dates, only the portion within the selected period is included in the export.
Employee filters
You can narrow down which employees appear in the export using any of these scopes:
- Teams
- Departments
- Offices
- Employment types
- Organizations
- Specific employees
What does the time off table show?
After you set your period and filters, a table displays the matching employees and their leave records. Each row shows:
- The name of the leave type
- The dates covered by the export
- The employee's name
- The number of working days the dates cover
- The note attached to the leave request
Use the checkboxes on the left of each row to select individual leave records, or select all of them at once.
How do I export time off data?
- Set your time period and employee filters as needed.
- In the table, use the checkboxes to select the leave records you want to export. At least one must be selected to export.
- Choose the file format you want to export to.
- Click Export.
While the file is generated, a banner displays: "We are currently exporting your files." Once the download finishes, a banner confirms: "Payroll report successfully downloaded!"
