We have an Altinn integration for sick notes, but the sick note does not automatically appear for the person.

There is certain criteria for the sick note to automatically appear for the person. The person must have a registered national ID number on their profile, and the sick leave must be active for the sick note to be automatically linked to the absence.

If the person does not have an active sick leave, you can find the sick note by navigating to "Sick Leave → Sick Notes." It will be listed as unprocessed there. Using the menu on the right side of the sick note, you can manage it—for example, by selecting "Create a sick leave based on this sick note." This will initiate a sick leave for the person, and the sick note will automatically be linked to the absence.
