Creating and setting upp offices in Simployer One
Similar to Departments, setting up offices in Simployer One is a way of organizing and structuring your employees as well as setting the foundation for the organizational chart.
There are no rules on what the correct way to structure offices is but we recommend segmenting it based on geographic locations e.g. based on countries or cities.
Head over to People > Offices
Adding a new office

Information needed:
Name - Name of the office
Email - This should be the main contact at the office e.g. the reception or front desk
Phone - Main phone number of the office
Country - Employees in this office will get the public holidays chosen for the company. This can be overridden for individual employees in their profile, or for this office in the dropdown below.
Specific if Sweden is chosen is that you can enter information about the numbers needed for government statistics.
Public holidays - Select if the public holidays should be default inherited for the country or
custom
for another selected country different than the office country
