How to set up Google Workspace SAML apps & SSO
Start off by going to your admin dashboard and click on SAML apps
Select Add custom SAML app
Name your app, we recommend Simployer One
Copy the SSO URL, Entity ID and the Certificate provided
In Simployer One, add the SSO URL, Entity ID and the x509 Certificate
Simployer One will then provide a Audience URI and ACS URL, copy both
Add this information in Google Admin.
You can also check the Signed response option. In the Name ID format you can select Email or Unspecified. Select the Name ID where the users work email is stored, in most cases it is Primary email.
Map the Name ID attribute from your selected attribute to Simployer One attribute email
Make sure to turn the service on for all users and Save
Done! You can now test your connection
