To help you better understand what changes have been made to person data, we’ve now released a long-awaited feature: Activity logs. This makes it possible to see what changes were made to a person in Simployer and when - covering the last 12 months.
You can access the activity logs both in the Administration section (for system administrators) and directly on the person page (for person administrators).
In the activity log, you can see:
When – the date and time the change was made
Employee – who the change was made for
Changed by – who made the change (admin, system, etc.)
Category – what type of information was changed (e.g. personal details, next of kin, email addresses)
Value – the specific data that was changed or updated
This feature gives you a clearer and more structured way to track changes in Simployer — whether it’s for individual employees or across departments. It also makes it easier to understand what was changed, by whom, and why.
This is just one of many improvements we’re working on to help you save time and work more efficiently in Simployer.
Please note: Activity logs only show data we currently track changes for — and only for active persons in Simployer.
