Restricting permissions for participants

Having permissions for an activity means that a user can see information about the activity and register for it (if applicable).

If you do not make any changes to participant permissions, everyone will have access to your activity, as the default setting grants permissions to all.

To restrict access to the activity:

  1. Click the Participants > Permissions tab

  2. Select the group Everyone

  3. Click Delete

  4. Click Add group

  5. Browse and select the desired groups

  6. Click OK

  7. Groups with permissions will now be displayed in the list

It is also possible to assign permissions at the individual level by clicking the Add user button, but this is not recommended as it creates a lot of administrative work.
