The handbooks contain both your organisation’s routines and documentation that you update yourselves, as well as best practices, laws and regulations that Simployer is responsible for keeping up to date.
The handbooks should grow together with your organisation, which means they will always require editing by both you and Simployer, ensuring that employees can easily find the right content in each area.
- There should be a clear mandate for who owns and is responsible for maintaining the handbooks, and where appropriate, this responsibility can be specified down to chapter level.
- It is important to allocate time for maintenance so that your organisation’s internal content remains updated and easy for end users to find.
- Simployer recommends continuous maintenance. Quick fixes and ad-hoc corrections rarely lead to good results.
- We also recommend including handbook content updates in an annual cycle. To support this, you can use the following features: News with the option to send reminders to yourself, Task lists, or mark articles and folders as Favourites.
