Find what you need faster with the updated Expert search page
The Expert search page has been updated with two new features that make it easier to find the right content quickly.
Sidebar filters — Narrow your results by topic, content type, author, and more, directly on the search page.
Content type tabs — Switch between articles, guides, news, and more without starting a new search.
How to use sidebar filters
1. Search for something using the search bar as usual.
2. On the results page, find the filter panel on the right side.
3. Select a filter — your results update straight away.
4. Combine multiple filters to narrow things down further.
5. To remove a filter, click the × next to it, or use Clear filters at the top of the panel to remove all at once.
How to use content type tabs
1. After running a search, look for the tabs at the top of the results (e.g. All, Articles, Guides, News).
2. Click a tab to see only results of that type.
3. Your filters stay in place when you switch tabs — no need to reapply them.
Tips
- Start with a broad search, then use filters or tabs to drill down to exactly what you need.
- Not finding what you expected? Try removing filters one at a time to see which one is narrowing your results too much.
What hasn't changed
- The search bar works exactly as before.
- The content of articles and other pages is unchanged.
- Where you access Expert from — the start page and navigation — stays the same.
