New Sick Leave Templates in Workflow Feature (Norway)

We’ve expanded the HRM workflow feature with two new expert-validated templates for managing sick leave in Norway – now available in both English and Norwegian.

What’s New?

As part of improving the sick leave management experience, we’ve updated the English version of the Norwegian Sick Leave Follow-up template. This update introduces two distinct templates designed to support HR teams in managing different types of sick leave:

  • Short-Term Sick Leave Template
Triggered after 1 day of employee sick leave.
  • Long-Term Sick Leave Template
Triggered after 14 days of employee sick leave.

Both templates are designed in close collaboration with our Experts from Simployer to ensure compliance and best practices in employee follow-up routines.

What Can You Do?

You can now:

  • Create New Workflows
Build manual or automated workflows for your employees using the new short-term or long-term sick leave templates.
  • Duplicate and Customize
Duplicate the expert templates and tailor them to reflect your company’s specific sick leave policies or follow-up procedures.

What Happens to Ongoing Workflows?

Don’t worry — nothing changes automatically. If an employee is already part of a workflow triggered by the previous Norwegian template, their tasks will continue without disruption.

Want to upgrade to the new version? Simply archive the current workflow for that employee and trigger a new one using the updated template.

Important for Active Automated Sick-Leave Workflows

If your system uses an automated workflow tied to the old Norwegian sick leave follow-up template:

  • The automation will still trigger when a new employee goes on sick leave.
  • However, it will now use the updated template, so some tasks may differ from what you're used to.

We recommend reviewing your workflows to ensure they still align with your internal routines.

Expanded Access to Analytics

We’re also excited to announce that our Analytics feature is now available to users with the Admin role, in addition to Owners who already had access.

Admins can now view the same insights and visualizations as Owners — excluding any data related to compensation. This means salary information remains visible only to Owners.

As part of this update, we’re officially graduating Analytics out of beta and retiring the previous Charts feature. All the insights and data you accessed through Charts are now improved within Analytics.

What’s new:

  • Admins now have access to Analytics (with salary data excluded)
  • Analytics is now generally available — no longer in beta
  • The legacy Charts feature has been sunsetted
