Which workflow templates are available in Simployer One?

Simployer One includes a library of expert-built workflow templates that help you automate common HR processes. These templates are designed using HR best practices and can be used as they are or duplicated and customized to match your organization's processes.

Workflow templates reduce manual work, improve consistency, and ensure that important tasks are completed at the right time.

Before you begin

  • Owners and Admins can manage workflow templates.
  • Navigate to Workflows → Manage templates to view the available templates.

How do I use an expert-built workflow template?

You do not need to build every workflow from scratch.

To use an existing template:

  4. Select the three-dot menu beside the template.
  5. Select Duplicate.
  6. Edit the duplicated template to match your organization's process.
  7. Save the template.

You can then use the template to start manual workflows or activate automatic triggers, depending on the template configuration.

Tip

Review the expert-built templates before creating a new workflow. An existing template may already meet your needs or require only minor adjustments.

Tip

Duplicate built-in templates instead of editing them directly so you always have the original version available as a reference.

Tip

Give duplicated templates descriptive names if you create different versions for different departments or locations.

Important

Test customized workflow templates before using them across your organization to ensure tasks, deadlines, and assignments work as expected.
