When should you transfer responsibility for sick leave follow-up in Simployer Classic?

If sick leave follow-up notifications are sent to the wrong manager, the organizational structure may have changed without the sick leave follow-up responsibility being updated accordingly.

Transfer responsibility for an active sick leave case in Simployer Classic

1. Open the relevant sick leave case
2. Select the circle with three dots at the top of the case
3. Select Transfer responsibility
4. Select the new responsible manager

Automate transfers for future manager changes in Simployer Classic

To automatically transfer sick leave cases when an employee's manager changes:

1. Go to System settings → Sick leave → Other sick leave settings
2. Enable Automatically transfer open sick leave cases to the new manager when the immediate manager changes

This setting is not retroactive. It applies from the time you enable it and takes effect the next time an immediate manager changes.
