You have set up your SSO already and receive this error message: "Error: app_not_configured_for_user" when attempting to log in:

If you are a user for &frankly, you'll need to create a ticket internally with your own IT department as the configurations are not handled through &frankly itself but rather through the SSO solution connecting your company's credentials with &frankly.

If you are in IT and do not see any errors in the configurations, you should know this issue normally occurs due to one of the following reasons:

  1. The user has not been granted permission to the app. If you created a group with users for this app on the SSO Admin Console, please make sure the user is inside this group. If there is no group, check directly on the user's profile to ensure the app permission is granted for them.

  2. If it is not a permission issue, then it's likely that the email address returned by the SSO is not matching the one registered in &frankly. So ensure the email address registered in &frankly is the primary email address on your SSO, so not alternate emails or userid, username, etc.
