Case handling

When users enter Case Handling, they will see a list of cases they have access to read.
To read a case, simply click on the case.

The information recorded in the case will then be displayed. To handle the case, click on the "Handle Case" link in the top right corner.

You will then have the option to modify the case title, set the severity, deadline, status, and add comments about the case. You can also upload attachments if you have images or similar items relevant to the case.

You cannot delete information entered by the registrant, but if you need to move the case to another unit, this can be done by an Administrator.

The severity will be displayed with the symbols grey, green, yellow, and red in the case list.

The deadline is automatically set to 30 days when the case is registered. If the case handler doesn't set a new deadline, this date will be the valid one.
Status must be set to have an overview of how many cases are being processed, closed, etc.

Categories can be changed by the case handler if it turns out that a case was registered under the wrong category.

In the Cause Assessment section, the case handler must describe why a deviation occurred.
In the Corrective and Preventive Actions section, the case handler must describe the actions taken to rectify the deviation and prevent it from happening again.
In the Conclusion/Final Comment section, the case handler should enter a comment to close the case, such as confirming that actions have been completed.
If there is a field for Cost Interval, you can enter the costs the deviation has incurred. The intervals will be shown in the report.

You can reject a case. This is only used in cases of incorrect registration, such as double registration, test cases, etc. When you cancel a case, it is natural to enter information in the comment field explaining why the case was rejected. Rejected cases are handled separately in the report.
Comments are added as the case progresses.
Attachments such as images can be added to the case.
If you are not done handling the case, click "Save" to continue working on it later, or when transferring the case to another case handler.
"Save and Close Case" is used when you are done working on the case, and it can be closed.
Note: You can also reopen a case after it is closed if needed.
