We’re excited to introduce our new and improved profile page. We want to make sure that you have instant access to what you need, when you need it. In addition to a number of smaller improvements, we added two major changes:
New navigation: We improved visibility and access to any information connected to an employee. You can easily switch between tabs to find sections that are connected to an employee’s profile.
Overview page: We added an Overview page which highlights the most important information and events within an employee’s journey.
In this article, we'll walk you through the updated profile design specifically tailored for "Owner/Admin" roles in Simployer One.
New Navigation
Experience a smoother profile navigation with our updated design. We've redesigned the navigation interface to make it more user-friendly and intuitive, ensuring you can effortlessly access the information you need.
Owners and admins can see all tabs connected to an employee’s profiles:
Overview

Time reporting (only shows if employee is part of a time reporting policy)
Tasks
Account
Besides the tabs, the header now also includes colored labels that show you whether an employee has an extended permission level (owner, admin and/or manager) permission role in the top-right corner of the interface.

The Overview tab provides comprehensive information aiming at helping you to manage and keep track of employees' status and relevant events:

Other Tabs
Notes
To make your experience even better, we've moved Notes to its own tab. This dedicated space ensures your notes are organized for easy reading and navigation. Notes now have a dedicated tab in order to give notes more attention and space. For notes we now also added information about the author's title as well as an “eye icon” which can be used to display or conceal content on the screen.
Notes can be accessed by owner, admins and managers by default (as well as employees if selected) but if you are sitting in an open workspace you might want to conceal sensitive information on your screen, making sure that no one nearby can see the respective content.

Documents
We've separated Profile and Company documents for a more intuitive experience. When viewing the profile documents you'll find documents directly connected to the respective employee, while keeping company-wide shared documents separate. For easy navigation between the two sections we have added cross-reference links.

Reviews
We've relocated Employee Reviews to a dedicated section. For now we include employee reviews only, however, by separating reviews from the profile tab allows us to potentially include more information or functionality in regards to employee performance in the future.

Time Off
Previously, owners and admins had to navigate through ‘time off settings’ and manually search for each policy, a time-consuming process. To make the information more accessible you can now get the list of all applied time-off policies for an employee. If you need to make any changes, you can simply click on the link of a policy and you will get redirected to the respective policy.

Profile
We know that some information from an employee’s profile is needed in external documents or other systems. To make the copy & paste process a bit smoother and quicker we added a “copy” feature to the profile. You can simply click on it and the value is saved and can be pasted somewhere else.
