How to make the same changes and edits to multiple employees at once


Sometimes you might want to make the same edits and changes for more than one employee, for example assigning them a new Manager or a new department. 

 

In this article we will cover how you, as an Owner or Admin, can make the same edits for multiple employees in Simployer One.

Bulk edits and quick actions

Go to People and mark the people you want to make the edits for. From then, click on "Actions" on the upper right corner and choose from the drop down list the action you want to do.

 

 

 

Available options for Actions are :

  • Change title - Change the title of the selected employee(s). 

  • Change cost center - Change the cost center of the selected employee(s). 

  • Change department  - Change the department of the selected employee(s).

  • Change Office - Change the office of the selected employee(s).

  • Change organization - Change the organization of the selected employee(s).

  • Change division - Define a division on the selected employee(s).

  • Change manager - Change the manager of the selected employee(s).

  • Change permissions - Change the permissions for the selected employees. Read more about the different standard permissions here.

  • Change employment type - Change a custom or default employment for the selected employee(s)

    Note : The above actions can be done directly or at a defined date that can be in the future as well as in the past.

  • Add to team  - Add the selected employee(s) to one or more teams.

  • Send invite email - Send invite links for selected newhire(s). 

  • Provision - This relates to Google provisioning for manual provisioning outside of the onboarding flows. Read more about the Google provisioning here.

  • Trigger workflow - Trigger a selected workflow for one or more selected employees.

  • Export employee data to CSV - Export employee data for the selected employee(s) in a .csv file for further filtration/reporting.
