How to apply for vacation or report parental- and sick leave and other types of leaves and how to revoke/remove a request
There are different ways to apply or request for time off in Simployer One. Via the Slack (here) or Teams (here) as well as via the web app directly:
Requesting time off

Go to the Main menu > Time off: There you will see a calendar including an overview of your pending requests, approved leaves and past leaves.
Select the type of time off you would like to apply for from the list of available leave types added by your employer. Select the from and to date. If needed, add a note to your approver.
After you have sent the request you'll be notified when the approver has reviewed your request. Not all requests need approval, so if the preview said your request will be auto-approved then you're good to go.
Change a time off request
If you have handed in a time off request but need you make changes you can currently do that for the following two use cases:
1) Remove a pending time off request
As the time off request has not been approved yet, hence, has a pending status you can simply remove the request

2) Revoking an approved time off
If you have an approved time off in the future you can revoke it. Go to your time off calendar and click on the event. Observe that admins has to enable revoke time off for employees. If you can't see the option revoke, you have to go through your manager or system admin.
Currently you can only revoke a full period of future time off. You cannot revoke specific days or a time off that's in the past.
Example: You have an approved vacation for 14th July - 8 August. You decide to shorten your vacation to 14th July - 1 August.
You need to revoke the whole period from 14th July - 8 August
You need to request a new time off for 14th July to 1 August
If the initial time off request has not required an approval the revoke process will be done instantly
If the initial time off request required an approval then your revoke request will be sent to the same approver (in most cases the manager) who can either approve or deny your request
