What tasklists are and how to create them with tasks for on- and off-boarding.
This is an old feature. You can read more about our new solution for onboarding her and the new solution for offboarding her.
Tasklist are, at their core, smart checklists. What makes them so useful is the ability to automatically trigger them and to assign people tasks based on their role in the organization (with dynamic due dates if needed).
Let's say you always let the manager of a new recruit be responsible for creating the recruits work email. By using tasklist you can make sure this is always assigned to the right person and that the person responsible gets reminded about it in time (for example 3 days before the new colleague starts). You can also follow the tasklist to see if everyone is doing the things they've been told to do.
An email is sent to the people assigned a task once the person the tasklist is for has been invited (has status "Active" in Simployer One).
To activate notifications earlier, you can click "Activate notifications".
On the due date of the task, a reminder is sent to make sure they complete the task in time.
Tasklist are managed under menu item Settings, tab tasklist

Information you'll need to do this step:
Tasklist name - Name of the tasklist. Keep it short, simple and easily distinguishable
Task instructions - The actual task(s) to be done. Get to the point quickly. If there's complex instructions use attachment(s)
Assigned to - Who should complete the task? Can be a specific person or a relational assignment (i.e. "Colleague's manager")
Due date - When the task should be completed at the latest
Attachment(s) - Any file/image that helps the assignee to complete the task
