Learn how you as an Owner/Admin can activate the integration with Slack and get started with our Simployer AI Slackbot

Activate the integration with our powerful AI-enabled Slackbot, Simployer AI, and introduce it to the rest of your organization to transform your HR experience. This feature not only enhances accessibility, efficiency, and user-friendliness for HR tasks but also allows employees to access vital information from your company handbooks directly within Slack.

Please note that this guide specifically covers the setup and usage of Simployer AI Slackbot, which differs from our other Slackbot, Simployer One. For reference, you can learn more about how to activate the Simployer One Slackbot here, however, we recommend you to only use the Simployer AI Slackbot going forward as it replaces the Simployer One Slackbot.

Activate AlexisAI on Slack

  1. Go to the Company > Slack. To activate the integration, you must be an Owner or Admin in Alexis and be an Admin in your Slack workspace. Click on "Connect Slack".

  2. Follow the instructions on the subsequent page and click "Allow".

  3. Once completed, you will find Alexis AI listed under the "Apps" section in Slack.

  4. Test a prompt such as "help" and wait for the bot to provide the answer.

    1. If you get automatically logged out, you'll see a green button on Slack requesting you to log in again to confirm the integration.

  5. Ask employees to follow these instructions to install the Alexis AI bot to their Slack and to learn more on how to use it.

Note, if you want to manually login and logout in Slack you can use the following prompts:

  • /alexis-ai log out
