Here you specify the status of the activity. The following statuses are available:
Under construction
The activity is not visible in the course catalog, on the start page, or in the participant’s statistics.
As long as the training program’s status is Under construction, the modules in the program will not be visible, even if they are active.
No automatic messages are sent from activities with this status.Active
The activity becomes available for registration and participation for all authorized users.Cancelled
Used for courses that are cancelled. The registration button in the course catalog becomes inactive.
Note that this status has no other built-in functionality. This means the administrator must handle cancellations and communication with already registered participants.
No automatic messages are sent from cancelled activities.Archived
Used for courses that are no longer current. Use this status instead of deleting the activity if you want to keep the results.
Archived activities disappear from the start page and the course catalog.
Participants with an approved result in an archived activity will still have access, e.g., to download a diploma or include it in their CV.
No automatic messages are sent from archived activities.
Note! If the training program status is Archived, but the modules are still active, automatic messages from the modules may still be sent.Use as template
This status is only visible if you have permission to create custom templates. By choosing this status, the activity is converted into a template that can be selected in the Add activity dialog.
Activities with the status Use as template will never be visible to participants, but are intended only for administrators to simplify administration.
No automatic messages are sent from activities with this status.
If you choose a status other than Active, this will also be displayed in the tree structure (current status in parentheses after the activity name). This text is only visible in the tree structure when editing the course.
