Quick guide to creating an activity
Briefly, how to create an activity:

  1. Go to Administer > Learning > Activities
  2. Click Create new
  3. Click on the desired template
  4. Fill in information about the activity:
    1. Select any resource
    2. Name
    3. Description
    4. Goals
    5. Select Subject area, Learning type, and Target group
    6. Change status to Active
    7. Save

There are many settings and options you can configure for an activity. These choices are described in detail later in this guide.

Session in instructor-led course

  1. Click on Session in the left panel. Information about the course session will now be displayed.

  2. Sessions define an instance of the instructor-led course. Each time the course is held, there must be a corresponding session.
     

  3. A session contains information specific to that instance, e.g., time, location, and instructor.
