How should the number of employees in private companies be calculated?

Modified on Fri, 14 Nov at 12:55 PM

You need to look at the average number of employees over the course of a financial year. All individuals working at least 20 hours per week should be included. Seasonal workers are generally not included, as they usually do not meet the requirement of working at least 20 hours per week. Hired-in workers are not employed by the company and should therefore not be counted.
