Grant Simployer temporary access to the database


Target audience – role: 

System administrator


Purpose:
Provide access to the database when Simployer needs to perform support tasks


In some support cases, it may be necessary for Simployer to have temporary access to your database in order to investigate and resolve the issue.


Important to note
Access should only be granted upon request from Simployer, or when agreed in advance

It is your system administrator who is responsible for granting this access

Access should be limited to the time strictly necessary


How to grant access
Go to Administration in the menu on the left

Select “Grant Simployer access”

Specify how many hours the access should last

Ensure that access is only granted for the necessary time period


Multiple applications
If you have multiple applications:

Select which application access should be granted to

Specify the duration per application


When access is granted
Once access is activated, Simployer can log in and gain the necessary insight into the database to assist with the case.
