The Simployer Portal

The complete Simployer solution consists of a range of applications and modules.

Simployer HRM is also referred to as the "Simployer Portal," and this is usually where you log in to Simployer.

To log in to Simployer HRM, go to the portal at the web address:
https://portal.simployer.com
(If you have handbooks, you can also log in directly to the handbook portal at https://handbooks.simployer.com.)

 

To log in, you must have set a password for your user account. Your username is usually your email address unless otherwise specified.

If you are in the process of implementing Simployer HRM but have not received an email to set your password, please notify your delivery consultant.

If you are already using Simployer HRM, you can request a new password reset link by clicking the "Forgotten password" link on the login page or by contacting our customer support.


Once you have logged in, you will arrive at the homepage:


On the homepage, as a system administrator, you can see all menus in the Simployer Portal (refer to the Roles document for an explanation of extended access rights).

Access within the system is determined by the logged-in user. When you are logged in as a system administrator, you see Simployer from this perspective, with full rights and complete access to all data.

A regular employee, on the other hand, will only have full access to their own data, while a manager will only have full access to data related to employees who report to them.


If you click the button in the upper left corner, you will see the global menu:



In the global menu, you can navigate to other areas of Simployer that are outside the Simployer Portal.

For example, if you have Handbooks, Processes, or Employment Contracts, you can access these modules from the global menu (several other applications and modules can also be selected here). You can also return to the Simployer Portal through the global menu.


If you click on your name in the upper right corner, you can log out or change basic account settings, such as language (Simployer is available in Norwegian, Swedish, and English):


Depending on which modules you have in Simployer, you will be able to see additional options in the portal menus:


On "Today’s Overview," you will receive updates on current and upcoming events, such as birthdays and anniversaries (how long someone has worked in the organization) and, if you have these modules, an overview of absence information. The screenshot displays the view for a system administrator. Regular employees do not see absence information on "Today’s Overview," and managers only see this for their own employees.


You can access the left-side menu at any time, regardless of where you are in the system. You can also use the person search field to look up an employee and navigate to their profile page:
