How does electronic signing of a follow-up plan (Esign) work?

Modified on Fri, 2 Oct at 3:15 PM

Learn how employees sign follow-up plans electronically and how to activate the service.

Sickness absence follow-up helps employees feel supported and return to work as soon as possible. During the follow-up process, the employee and manager create a follow-up plan together. They identify which work tasks the employee can perform and any measures or assistive tools the employee may need.

The follow-up plan must be prepared regularly and signed by the employee. Employees can sign the follow-up plan electronically using Esign.

Benefits of electronic signing of follow-up plans with Esign

  • Simplified documentation: You can document the employee’s confirmation quickly and easily. Both parties can access and confirm the follow-up plan at any time.
  • Seamless workflow: After the manager registers the follow-up plan, a request for electronic signing is automatically sent to the employee.
  • Immediate access: The signing status appears in the absence register. The signed document is available through a direct link without requiring access to the document module.

Electronic signing removes the need for physical signatures, saves time, and ensures that agreements are securely documented and easily available when needed.
