Manager, Peer(s), Subordinate(s) and Self-feedback in a review
If you haven't tried reviews out yet we recommend starting with this article to set up your first review. It gets you through the basics of how reviews work!
Settings in the Reviewers step in Reviews
Below is a run down of all possible settings. Depending on the template you've selected some options won't be possible to turn on.
To learn more about templates see our Help Center!
1. Don't show names on answers
This means names has been removed from the summary of answers. You, the participants or anyone with access to answers will no longer know who answered what (given that there's more than 1 person answering the questions).
Note: It does not hide the names of the people submitting answers in a review - meaning reviewees will still know who has been asked to answer questions.
2. The reviewee's manager
Turning this on will make the manager of the reviewee part of the review. Managers will be asked to submit meeting notes once deadline approaches!
3. One or more of the reviewee's peers
Turning this on enables you to add Peers to the review. Peers will be asked to answer Reviewer questions but will not be able to see answers submitted (unless added to the reviews access rules).
4. Number of peers
Here you can decide on how many Peers should be possible to add to a review. This setting also appears if you add subordinates to the review (see 7.). You can set a minimum and a maximum to control the amount of peers asked to participate.
5. Reviewee can select peers?
Turning this setting on makes it possible for the reviewee to select Peers. This will show up in the review as an action to perform. This setting also appears if you add subordinates to the review (see 7.)
6. From what scope can they select peers?
Here you can set rules for the list of Peers a reviewee gets to select. You can limit it to the same department or office as the reviewee.
7. One or more of the reviewee's subordinates
Turning this setting on will make it possible to add subordinates to the review. As noted before you can also set the Number of Subordinates and select if the reviewee should be the one selecting who will be added.
8. Self-feedback
Turning this setting on will enable the reviewee to answer prep-questions before the meeting.
