Electronic signing of the absence follow-up plan

Absence follow-up is important so that the employee feels cared for and can return to work as quickly as possible. During the follow-up process, a follow-up plan is created where the employee and manager together identify which tasks can be performed and, if necessary, which measures or aids are required to help the employee function as well as possible. This plan should be developed regularly and signed by the employee.

Finally, we have now launched the possibility for this follow-up plan to be signed electronically!

This will make it easier than ever for both managers and employees to document and confirm the follow-up plan, streamlining the entire process.

The benefits of being able to do this electronically:

  • Simplified documentation: Quickly and easily document the employee's confirmation with just a few clicks. Both parties can access and confirm the follow-up plan at any time, ensuring full clarity and accountability.
  • Seamless workflow: Once the follow-up plan is registered by the manager, the request for digital signing is automatically sent to the employee.
  • Instant access: The signing status is clearly displayed in the absence register, and the signed document is available via a direct link – no dependency on the document module! This marks a major improvement compared to the original process.

This feature removes the need for physical signatures, saves valuable time, and ensures that all agreements are documented securely and easily accessible when needed.

How does it work?

When the manager creates the follow-up plan with the employee, an automatic document will be generated and sent to the employee for signing:

The plan is sent to the employee for signing:

Once the signing process is complete, the status will be updated, and the signed plan will be saved in the absence record. Both the employee, manager, and other roles with access to the absence record will be able to view the plan.
