When employees apply for leave in Simployer One, the system provides immediate visibility into how much of the leave type has already been used during the current allowance period. This ensures employees and managers have the necessary context to make informed decisions regarding absence planning, policy adherence, and remaining quota.
1. What Is Displayed in the Leave Request Dialog
As part of the leave request workflow, Simployer One displays a usage summary based on the selected leave type. This information appears directly in the request dialog and is updated in real time based on the employee’s usage and allowance history.
2. General Leave Types – Usage Display
For most leave types that include an allowance, the system shows:
Total number of days already used during the current period
Total available allowance (where applicable)
3. Care of Sick Child
When applying for Care of Sick Child leave, Simployer One also displays country-specific rules. The number of days used this period is shown, and the system presents national entitlements, such as:
Total days allowed per child
Adjustments for single parents or children with chronic illness
4. Parental Leave
For Parental Leave, the leave request dialog shows enhanced details on total days used per child, enabling tracking across individual entitlements. It also shows national rules and regulations relevant to parental leave.
