A manager will always have access to start a process.
Others with the role of Process Owner, Process Coordinator, or Process Starter will also be able to initiate a process.
To access the Process Module, click on the "waffle menu" in the top left corner and select Processes.

Once you've clicked Start Process, choose the template you want to use.
Simployer provides templates for onboarding, offboarding, HSE processes, and the HR annual cycle.
After selecting the appropriate template, a dialog box will appear where you can set the parameters for the template.
Process name will be suggested based on the name of the selected template. You can choose to keep the suggested name or enter your own.
Process start date indicates when the process becomes active and when tasks can begin.
The next field may vary, depending on the template. For example, it could be First working day, Last working day, or a specific task.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
Choose Process Owner: This will default to the person creating the process but can be changed if someone else should be responsible — usually the direct manager.
Then specify who the process is being started for – this is the employee.
The employee must already be registered in Simployer in order to be selected.
HSE Processes and HR Annual Cycle:
Choose Process Owner: Here, you can select department managers.
Then choose which departments the process should be initiated for.
