Used to publish information that should be available without requiring the participant to register. Unlike all other activity templates, this template does not contain additional information beyond what is visible before registration, therefore no registration is needed to access the content. As an administrator, you can still register participants if you want the activity to appear on their activity list; otherwise, it will remain available in the catalog.
The content is added in an editor where you, as administrator, can insert text, images, links, videos, etc.
The participant can, if they wish, mark the activity as completed, i.e., indicate to the system and themselves that they have read the information.
To add an information activity:
Go to Administer > Learning > Activities
Click Create New
Select the template Information (Text/Image/Video) without registration
In the Content box, add the information you want participants to see
Fill in the rest of the information
