Simployer Classic - Release Notes — April 2026
This update brings several improvements to make your everyday work in Simployer easier.
Here`s what's new
Compensation module:
Comments on salary reviews
Managers can now add individual comments when setting salaries during a salary review. This makes it easy to document the reasoning behind salary decisions — improving transparency and traceability across your organisation.
Person and Position module:
Flexible notifications for expiring employments
You now have more control over when you're notified about employments that are about to expire. In addition to the existing monthly reminders, you can now also choose:
- Weekly reminders — 7, 14, or 21 days before expiration
- Daily reminder — 1 day before expiration
Each notification type can be turned on or off independently — set it up to match how you like to work.
Deactivate user account when ending an employment
When you end an employment, Simployer will now ask if you also want to deactivate the person's user account. This is handled in a single step, preventing user accounts from staying active by mistake after someone has left.
Previously, this required two separate actions on different pages. Now it's all in one place.
Employee number assignment — new setting
A new setting gives you control over how employee numbers are assigned. Choose the option that best suits your organisation:
- Sequential — always assigns the next number after the highest used number. Previously used numbers are never reused.
- Fill gaps — reuses available numbers within your configured range, filling in gaps left by inactive employees.
Existing employee numbers are not affected by this change.
ITAS Competence module:
Improved CV — better PDF layout and Word export
The CV module has been significantly upgraded:
The PDF layout is cleaner and more professional, with better readability and consistent formatting.
Word export is back — making it easy to generate and share polished CVs with customers.
