Edit permissions to manage Custom Fields

Modified on Tue, 25 Aug at 3:58 PM

Who can manage custom fields by default?

By default, only users with the Owner permission can create, edit, and archive custom fields in Simployer One. If you also want users with the Admin permission to manage custom fields, you need to update their access.

How do I let Admins manage custom fields?

  1. Go to Settings, then click Permissions.
  2. Find the Admin role, and click the arrow next to it to expand the role.
  3. Toggle Manage custom fields on.

Note: Once this is turned on, Admins can create, edit, and archive custom fields in the same way as Owners.
