How to give final approval to salary review

How do I find my part of a salary review?

1. Go to Compensation > Salary reviews.
2. Find the salary review where your Role includes Final Approver.
3. Click the name of the salary review to open it.

Note: If you also have the owner role for the same salary review, you'll see two tabs at the top of the review: Final Approver and Owner. Use the Final Approver tab for the steps in this article.

How do I review and approve salary proposals?

1. Open the salary review using the Final Approver tab.
2. Review the table, which shows each group's role, salary, budget, new salary, salary increase, and status.
3. Read any comments left by approvers or planners.
4. Click Approve or Reject in the Action column.

Important: If you reject a proposal, it's sent back to the approver or planner for further adjustments and returns to you once resubmitted.

How do I update salaries once the salary review is approved?

1. Once you've approved all proposals, the salary review reaches 100% complete.
2. Click Update salaries in the top-right corner.
3. In the Update salaries window, click Save to confirm.

Important: Once you update the salaries, employees receive a notification and can view their new salary in their profile in Simployer One. Make sure all employees have been informed of their new salary before you complete this step.

Note: This step can also be completed by the person who created the salary review, the owner.

How do I export a completed salary review?

1. Open the completed salary review.
2. Click Export in the top-right corner.
3. Choose to export the review as a CSV or Excel report.

The owner of the salary review can also update the salaries.

What happens if I reject a salary proposal?

It's sent back to the approver or planner for adjustments, and you can review it again once it's resubmitted.
