Who can see handbook analytics in Simployer One?
Only handbook administrators and owners can see handbook analytics in Simployer One. Regular employees and managers cannot see the analytics overview or the Analytics tab.
Analytics data is stored separately for each organisation. It provides aggregate information about handbook content and adoption. It does not show what an individual employee has read.
How do I see the handbook analytics overview?
The handbook front page shows a summary of handbook usage. The overview includes:
Unique viewers: The number of people who have read at least one handbook article.
AI referrals: The share of viewers whose first article view in the period came from a Sia answer.
Library size: The amount of content in the handbook.
Use this overview to understand the overall reach of your handbook and whether employees reach handbook content through Sia.
How do I open detailed handbook analytics in Simployer One?
Open Handbooks.
Open Content management.
Open Analytics.
Review the available analytics for your handbook.
The Analytics tab shows:

Each figure includes its change compared with the previous month.
How do I use Top articles and Top topics to improve a handbook?
Top articles and Top topics show the handbook content that employees access most often.
Use this information to prioritise content maintenance:
Keep frequently used articles accurate and up to date.
Check whether frequently used topics need clearer information or related articles.
Review articles and topics that do not appear in the analytics. Content that is not used may be unnecessary, difficult to find, or written differently from the terms employees search for.
What do Unique viewers show in handbook analytics?
Unique viewers show how many people have read at least one handbook article. The change compared with the previous month shows whether the handbook’s reach is increasing or decreasing.
A decrease after a handbook reorganisation can indicate that navigation has changed. Review the handbook structure before concluding that employees are less interested in the content.
What do AI adoption and AI referrals show in handbook analytics?
AI adoption and AI referrals show whether employees reach handbook content by asking Sia instead of browsing the handbook.
AI referrals is the share of viewers whose first article view in a period came from a Sia answer. This measures first visits only. A person who browses the handbook first and uses Sia later is not included in the AI referral figure.
Use AI referrals as an indicator of Sia-driven first visits, not as a complete measure of all Sia use.

Can I see what a specific employee has read in the handbook?
No. Handbook analytics is aggregated and does not provide a per-person view. It helps you understand how handbook content performs without monitoring individual employees.
Can I see the questions employees ask Sia?
No. Questions asked in Sia and ratings of Sia answers are not currently included in handbook analytics.
Why do AI adoption or AI referral figures look incomplete?
AI adoption and AI referral figures depend on data reported by Sia. If that reporting is interrupted, the AI figures can under-report for the affected period.
Other handbook analytics figures remain correct when this affects only Sia reporting.
What time period do handbook analytics figures cover?
Each handbook analytics figure is displayed with its change compared with the previous month.
Do employees and managers see handbook analytics?
No. The handbook front-page overview and the Analytics tab are available only to handbook administrators and owners.
Does this analytics feature apply to Handbooks Classic?
No. This article describes analytics in Simployer One Handbooks. Handbooks Classic is a separate product with its own statistics. See the Handbook statistics article for information about Handbooks Classic.
Does handbook analytics change pricing?
No. Handbook analytics does not change pricing.
Why did handbook analytics change after we reorganised content?
Moving or renaming handbook articles changes how the content is counted. A sharp change during a content reorganisation can reflect changes to navigation rather than changes in employee interest.
Review analytics again after the handbook structure has stabilised.
