Why are we upgrading from Simployer Classic to Simployer One?

Simployer One is Simployer's modern HR platform. It provides a simpler and more user-friendly experience for employees, managers, and HR.

During the upgrade, you get access to Simployer One and follow a structured process for moving from Simployer Classic to the new platform. Guidance and training materials are available throughout the process.

What data is moved from Simployer Classic to Simployer One?

Employee data is migrated from Simployer Classic to Simployer One as part of the upgrade.

Core data that carries over includes:

  • Employee information
  • Employee numbers
  • History
  • Holiday balances
  • Documents
  • Absence data

Some migration activities are completed by you, while others are completed by Simployer.

You are informed if any information requires manual review or follow-up.

Do we need to check our data before the upgrade?

Yes. Before starting the migration, you perform a data validation check in Simployer Classic.

You may need to correct information in Classic before continuing. In some cases, you may also need to verify or complete information after the migration.

What happens to Simployer Classic during the upgrade?

Employee access to Simployer Classic becomes dormant during the upgrade while employees wait to be invited to Simployer One.

Administrators retain access to Classic for historical checks.

The estimated administrator access period is three months from the migration date.

What can we use Simployer One for after the upgrade?

Available functionality depends on the products your organization has.

Simployer One can include functionality for:

  • Employee information
  • Organizational structure
  • Documents and e-signing
  • Absence and time off
  • Tasks and workflows
  • Competence
  • Reports and overviews

What is included in the Essential package?

  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Documents and e-signing
  • Employee reviews

What happens when the upgrade is complete?

When setup and checks are complete, your organization decides when employees should be invited to Simployer One.

Once employees are invited, your organization can start using Simployer One.

Support remains available after the upgrade.
