Register employees without employment or a position

You can create different employee groups in Simployer One without registering employment or a position.

We recommend creating a separate legal entity called Board members.

Register employment for board members

If you want to register employment for board members, we recommend creating a separate personnel category and position title.

1. Go to Administration → Personnel categories
2. Create a personnel category, such as Board members
3. Leave the checkboxes for including employees in sickness absence statistics and position percentage calculations cleared

Employees assigned to the Board members personnel category are not included in these statistics.

If you create positions for board members, you can also define a position title such as Board member.
