Settings
The first thing we need to do is ensure that the organization is correctly set up, with the appropriate salary-responsible managers and approvers.
Step 1 – Settings
We start by making sure that a manager is assigned to each department.
Step 2
We verify that approvers are in place and that the organization is confirmed.
Managers who are listed as salary-responsible will be able to adjust salaries for their employees during a salary adjustment process. Those who are assigned as approvers will be able to approve the new salaries set during the salary adjustment round, for the level where they are approvers.
Only once the organization is confirmed will managers be able to view their employees' salaries.
Employees will be able to see their salaries as soon as salary data is uploaded in Compensation Basic.
Step 3 – Higher-level manager
By default, higher-level managers cannot view salaries in their sub-departments. If a higher-level manager needs access to view sub-departments, a checkbox must be ticked, as shown in the image.
We are now ready to create a salary adjustment round.
