Update Pay Transparency Directivein Equal Pay.
The EU Equal Pay Directive was adopted in 2023 and is considered to be relevant to the EEA. The government has indicated that the directive will be incorporated into the EEA Agreement, which means that the rules will also apply in Norway.
Before the directive can take effect in Norway, it must be implemented in Norwegian law. The government has not yet issued a consultation proposal on this, and we therefore do not yet know how the specific rules will be designed.
Simployer is closely monitoring the EU Pay Transparency Directive and will update our systems in line with new legal requirements as they take effect.
