Applying for Vacation or Leave
To apply for vacation or leave (Time Off), go to Time Off in the menu at the top of your profile. From there, select either Vacation or Time Off.
You can submit a request by either:
- Clicking and dragging your mouse across the relevant dates in the calendar, or
- Clicking the + button to open the dialog box, where you can enter the start and end dates.
When submitting a Time Off request, you must also select the appropriate leave type from the drop-down menu.
Changing or Deleting Vacation or Leave Requests
Please note that employees cannot edit or delete their own vacation or leave requests once they have been approved.
If you need to change an approved request (for example, if you become sick during your vacation), you must contact your manager or system administrator, who can make the necessary changes on your behalf.
Vacation Balance
Your approved vacation days, together with any manual adjustments made by your manager, will be reflected in your vacation balance within the system.
Public Holidays
All official public holidays are included in the system.
When you apply for vacation during a period that includes public holidays, those days are automatically excluded from your vacation request and will not be deducted from your vacation balance.
