What is the Individual Questions page in Employee Surveys?
The Individual Questions page in Employee Surveys shows detailed results for each survey question.
Use Individual Questions when you want to review results question by question, compare two groups at a time, prepare results for a group presentation, or export selected results. If you want to compare several groups, use Heatmap instead.
You can also use Individual Questions to view results for questions that have been asked multiple times during a selected time span.
How do I open Individual Questions in Employee Surveys?
To open the Individual Questions page:
- Go to Employee Surveys > Results.
- Open the Individual Questions tab.
How do I choose which Employee Surveys results to view?
In Individual Questions, choose options under Group and Pulses before results are shown.
- Group: Choose from the drop-down list whether to view your own answers or results for a group you have access to. You can also compare one group with another group if you have access to both groups.
- Pulses: Choose among weeks and pulses by clicking the circle for the pulse you want to view.
How do I filter Individual Questions results in Employee Surveys?
Use the Questions filter to remove questions that you do not want to view.
Use Filter at the top right of the Individual Questions page to adjust which results are included.
You can use filters to exclude your own answers or include pulses over a longer time span.
You can also filter by attributes if attributes have been added to the Employee Surveys account.
How do I read each question result in Employee Surveys?
Scroll down on the Individual Questions page to view each survey question.
For each question, click the available options to change between average, spread, response rate, and comments. The overview shows whether comments are available, including the number of available comments.
Question templates that are displayed in percentages do not show spread results, because the percentage itself indicates the spread.
Your company settings control whether and when you can view spread results and comments. Comments are also affected by the Results visibility settings selected when the survey is scheduled. Employee Surveys administrators manage these settings.
To include data points in graphs, go to Employee surveys > Account > then select the My settings tab and select the Show Data Points checkbox. You can also hover over a point in a graph to see the exact number if Show Data Points is not enabled in your settings.
You can use the Results from other pulses toggle at the bottom left of each question if you have not already activated results from other weeks and pulses in the Filter at the top right of the page.
Use the full screen symbol in the bottom-right corner of any question when you want to present the selected questions more clearly. Full screen includes all questions currently selected in the Questions filter at the top of the page, not only the question where you clicked the full screen symbol.
Use the Share button at the bottom of a question to create a live link to that question result. You can send the live link by email, share it in social channels, or include it in your portal. People who open the live link do not need to log in to Employee Surveys.
