Manager Tab and Widgets on Dashboard

What is the manager dashboard?

The manager dashboard is a dedicated dashboard in Simployer One built specifically for managers. It brings a manager's most important information together in one place, so managers can stay on top of their team, act quickly, and get a full overview without switching between multiple views.

To open it, click Home in the main menu and select the Manager tab. The tab is shown to users who are set as manager for at least one colleague. 

The manager dashboard includes three main widgets:

• Upcoming leaves – team leave status and pending requests
• Team KPI overview – key team metrics at a glance
• Sia – AI-powered support, available directly from the dashboard

Upcoming leaves widget on the manager dashboard

The Upcoming leaves widget on the manager dashboard gives managers a clear, up-to-date view of their team's leave in one place. It shows:

• Upcoming leave
• Pending leave requests
• Approved absences

If no one in the team has upcoming leave, the widget shows "No upcoming leaves".

Managers can approve or decline pending leave requests directly from the Leave overview widget on the dashboard, without needing to navigate elsewhere to take action.

The KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) widget on the manager dashboard automatically gathers and displays key team metrics from the trailing twelve months, giving managers a fast overview without needing to search for numbers or build their own reports.

The KPI widget shows:

• Headcount
• Tenure
• Average age
• Gender distribution

Sia widget on the manager dashboard

The Sia widget on the manager dashboard gives managers direct access to Sia, Simployer One's AI assistant, without leaving the dashboard. The widget offers suggested questions, for example "How many employees are on parental leave right now" and "What is the FTE breakdown by work percentage" and provides well-grounded answers, making it easy for managers to get help with questions as they come up during everyday manager tasks.
