What is Analytics in Simployer One?

Analytics in Simployer One is a Beta feature that lets you explore and visualize key data about your organization. It helps you track metrics like headcount, turnover, compensation costs, and absence rates so you can make data-driven decisions.

Even though Analytics is still labeled Beta, it's available to all customers with Owner permission, and it will continue to evolve with more features and refinements.

Here's what you can do with Analytics:

• Analytics and the overview page are visible only to Owners.
• All information on the overview page is visible to every Owner, regardless of who created or edited a widget.
• You can create, edit, add, and delete widgets. A maximum of 15 widgets are allowed on each page.
• You can display 1, 2, or 3 widgets per row.
• You can group and filter all widgets by: All employees (default), Departments, Offices, Teams, Employment types, Organizations, Gender, or Age.

What are the Top Fixed Widgets in Analytics?

The Top Fixed Widgets in Simployer One Analytics show these core metrics:

Total Headcount
Calculates the current (today's) number of active employees. Click it to open a detailed modal showing the gender distribution.

Full-Time Equivalents (FTE%)
Calculates the current (today's) number of active employees, taking their employment rate into account. For example, 2 employees with a 50% employment rate are calculated as 1 FTE. Click it to open a detailed modal showing ranges for the different employment rates and the number of employees within each range.

Joiners/Leavers (Year to Date)
Shows the total number of employees who have joined or left the company since the start of the current year. YTD refers to year to date.

Average Employee Age
Calculates the current (today's) number of employees and their age, then divides it by the number of employees. The date of birth field is required for this calculation.

Company Average Tenure
Calculates the total tenure of employees in the company — from each employee's first start date up until today — then divides that number by the number of employees.

What are the Customizable Widgets in Analytics?

In addition to the Top Fixed Widgets, Simployer One Analytics offers customizable widgets you can group, filter, and configure to fit your needs.

Compensation Cost Widget
Calculates total compensation costs, including salaries, bonuses, and other types of compensation. You can customize it by grouping or filtering data and applying currency conversions.

Absence Widgets

• Absence %: Calculates leave as a percentage of work hours.
• Absence Days: Tracks leave in days.
• Absence Hours: Monitors leave in hours for precision.

Employee Movement Widgets

• Turnover %: Measures employee attrition rates.
• Joiners/Leavers: Tracks hiring and offboarding trends.

Employee Widgets

• FTE%: Visualizes your organization's full-time equivalent capacity.
• Headcount: Gives a clear view of total employees.

How do I set up a Private Dashboard in Analytics?

A Private Dashboard in Simployer One Analytics gives you a personal space to view and manage data. Insights on a Private Dashboard are visible only to you, so you can focus on the metrics that matter most to your role.

To set up a Private Dashboard:

1. Click Edit Insight in your Analytics view.
2. A button labeled Add New Tab appears.
3. Click Add New Tab to create a new tab — this becomes your Private Dashboard.
4. Add widgets to your new tab to visualize the data you need.
