How to edit your profile information in Simployer One
You can update most of your own employee information directly from your profile in Simployer One.
Profile editing is only available in the web application. You cannot edit your profile information from the mobile app.
Before you edit your profile
To edit your profile information:
- Sign in to Simployer One in a web browser.
- Open your profile from the profile menu.
Open your profile in Simployer One
- Select your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Profile from the dropdown menu.
The profile menu also gives you access to Time off, Documents, Notifications, Log history, Account settings, and Log out.
What profile information can I edit?
Your profile is divided into several sections:
| Section | Information |
|---|---|
| Work | Job title, department, office, manager, and other work-related details |
| Financial | Bank account and payment details |
| Personal | Contact details, address, and personal information |
| Employment | Employment type, start date, and related details |
| Compensation | Salary and compensation information |
| Other information | Custom fields configured by your company |
| Emergency contacts | Names and contact details for emergency situations |
| Children | Information about your children, if relevant for your company |
Which fields you can edit depends on the field and your permissions.
Important: You cannot edit your own Compensation or Title. An Owner or Administrator must make changes to these fields.

What should I do if I cannot edit a profile field?
If a field is greyed out or does not have a pencil icon, you cannot edit it yourself.
Contact your HR team if the information needs to be changed. An Owner or Administrator can update fields that you do not have permission to edit.
Tip: Keep your profile information up to date. Details such as your department, office, and manager can affect which content, workflows, and approvals apply to you.
