How to assign roles in the Contract module
- Go to the employee’s profile in Simployer Classic.
- Select Settings and roles.
- Find the role you want to assign under the Contract module roles.
- Assign the role at the correct level in the organizational structure.
Important
Assign Contract module roles at the lowest possible level, which is the department level. If you assign a role at a higher level, the person can open and view all contracts at that level and below. Assign roles across multiple departments instead to limit access. You can find a description of each role in the role overview where you assign roles.
How to choose a Contract signee other than the department manager
By default, the department manager signs on behalf of the company. To select someone else as the Contract signee:
- The person who will sign must have the Contract signee role at the department level where the contract is created.
- When creating the contract, in step 4 of the wizard, change the Contract signee from the department manager to the person who has the Contract signee role.
