One page for every role, showing what needs you today.
When you open Simployer One, you should see what matters most and what to do next. The new startpage is built for exactly that. Instead of monthly numbers spread across a Personal and an HR tab, you get one page that shows what needs your attention and lets you act on it right away.
Each person sees what is relevant to their role, and only what they have access to. Cards with nothing to show are hidden.
What is on your startpage
- Waiting on you. Your tasks from Action Hub, with search and filters. Today shows everything due now, including overdue tasks. Later this week shows what falls due in the coming days, and All shows every open task. Absence requests and timesheets can be approved directly from the list. Each row starts with the person the task concerns, then the kind of task and when it is due, for example Leave request or Timesheet week 34. Lateness is said in words, for example Due yesterday or Due 24 Aug, 37 days late. Each row has one main action, with View details in the more menu. The number on the card counts the tasks that are due now or late, and the bell shows the same number.
- Away and sick today. For HR: how many people across the company are away or on sick leave today. Select a number to open the time off overview. Managers see who on their team is away in Your team.
- Your team. Who is away this week. At the weekend the card shows the week ahead. The card says whose absence it shows and the dates it covers, and you can change the scope: everyone, specific departments or offices, or hand-picked colleagues. Colleagues see who is away but not why: a sick or family related absence shows as "Away", and only the person, their manager and HR see the reason.
- Onboarding at a glance. Ongoing onboardings, each linking to the person's profile. Each row shows the start date and whose step it is. HR sees every onboarding in the company.
- Ask Sia. If your company uses Sia, ask a question without leaving the page, with suggested questions for your role.
- Celebrations. Birthdays and work anniversaries across the company, at the top of the page.
- Quick tools. Shortcuts to everyday tasks such as setting your work location and searching handbooks. Each person chooses which tools they see, and more will be added.
- Request time off and clock in. Request time off stays as a button at the top of the page. If your company uses time tracking, you can clock in from the top of the page and see whether you have clocked in today.
- News. The latest company news from the last 30 days, with the picture beside the headline and the date shown.
What you see depends on your role
- HR and admins see the tasks waiting on them, how many people are away or sick across the company and ongoing onboardings.
- Managers see their team's tasks, can see who on their team is away this week, and can approve absence requests and timesheets without leaving the startpage.
- Employees get quick tools for everyday tasks, company news, celebrations and Your team. If your company uses Sia, they also get Ask Sia. The Request time off button is at the top of the page.
Customize your view
Choose which Quick tools you see with the pencil icon. Managers and HR can also choose what the page leads with, for example People first or Work first.
Prefer the old startpage?
