Understand what Account Owners, Admins, Users, and Reviewers can access and manage in Recruitment.
How do Recruitment permission levels work?
Recruitment has four permission levels:
Account Owner
Admin
User
Reviewer
Recruitment permission levels are separate from the standard roles and permissions in Simployer One.
The permission level determines which jobs, candidates, settings, reports, integrations, and recruitment activities a person can access.
What can an Account Owner do in Recruitment?
Each Recruitment account can have only one Account Owner.
The Account Owner can:
Add and remove other users and set their Recruitment permission levels
Complete key setup tasks, including creating the Privacy Policy and setting up the Career page
Access all Recruitment features available at Admin level
Note: If your Recruitment account is integrated with an HRIS partner, user provisioning may be managed through the HRIS instead.
What can an Admin do in Recruitment?
Recruitment Admins have visibility across all users and jobs.
Admins can:
Manage all jobs and candidates
Customise the careers page
View account-wide reports
Adjust and manage default templates
Create custom templates
Manage team and agency permissions
Manage company-level integrations
Grant Recruitment permissions to other users
What can a User do in Recruitment?
Recruitment Users have full visibility for the jobs they are involved in.
Users can:
Manage jobs they created, including the candidates involved in those jobs
Enable personal integrations, but not company-level integrations
View templates
Create or edit custom templates
Access all Recruitment features available at Reviewer level
What can a Reviewer do in Recruitment?
Reviewer is the most limited Recruitment permission level. Reviewers can only take part in activities for jobs where they have been added to the hiring team.
Reviewers can:
View jobs assigned to them
Participate in interviews
Complete scorecards for candidates in jobs where they are part of the hiring team
Receive relevant notifications in the Communication Centre
Reviewers cannot create jobs.
What is the difference between Admin, User, and Reviewer access in Recruitment?
The main difference is how broadly each Recruitment permission level can access jobs and recruitment activities:
Admin: Has visibility across all users and jobs
User: Has full visibility for the jobs they are involved in
Reviewer: Can only respond to relevant activities within jobs where they have been added to the hiring team, such as completing a scorecard or leaving a note on a candidate
